Win Rate Calculator
With w wins in g matches, k straight wins give a win rate of (w + k) / (g + k). From 50 wins in 100 matches you need 25 wins in a row to reach a 60% win rate.
How to use
- Choose how you know your record: matches played with a win rate, or wins and losses.
- Enter the numbers and the win rate you want to reach, for example 60.
- Read the number of wins in a row you need. If you are already above the target, you see how many losses in a row you can take before dropping below it.
How it works
With w wins in g matches, k straight wins give a rate of (w + k) ÷ (g + k). Setting that to at least the target T and solving gives k ≥ (T × g − w) ÷ (1 − T), rounded up to a whole match.
For losses, w ÷ (g + k) ≥ T gives k ≤ w ÷ T − g, rounded down. The calculation uses whole numbers, so there are no rounding errors at the boundary.
When you enter a win rate, the number of wins is the rate times the matches, rounded to the nearest whole win. Games round the displayed rate, so the result can be off by a win or two for long histories. Entering wins and losses is exact.
The target must be above 0 and below 100. Reaching 100% is impossible once you have lost a match.
FAQ
How many wins in a row do I need to go from 50% to 60% over 100 matches?
You need 25. After 25 straight wins you are at 75 wins in 125 matches, which is exactly 60%.
Why does the number grow so fast near a high target?
The closer the target is to 100%, the smaller the share each new win adds. From 55 wins in 100 matches, 70% needs 50 wins in a row, while 80% needs 125.
Can I use it for Mobile Legends, Dota, League or Valorant?
Yes, any game that tracks wins and losses. Your seasonal total is the record to enter. A draw does not count in this tool, so leave draws out.
What does the loss row mean?
If your current rate is already at or above the target, it shows how many losses in a row you can take and still stay at or above that rate.
