Table and chart images downloaded from Nanocalcs are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, share and adapt them, including commercially, as long as you give credit.

How to credit

Keep the source line printed at the bottom of each image, or add a visible link to the page the image came from. The link text can be the site name, for example Nanocalcs. The image footer shows the exact address, such as nanocalcs.com/en/shoe-size-converter.

Embedding a tool

Every tool page has an Embed button under the calculator. The code it gives you includes a visible link back to the tool page. Please keep that link in place.

Citing a page

The Cite button on each tool page prepares references in APA, MLA, Chicago, Harvard, BibTeX and Wikipedia formats, plus an HTML link.

Third-party software

The video and audio tools (Video to GIF, Video Compressor, Audio Converter) run ffmpeg.wasm in your browser: @ffmpeg/ffmpeg 0.12.15 (MIT) and the unmodified @ffmpeg/core 0.12.10 build of FFmpeg, which includes x264 and LAME and is distributed under the GNU GPL v2 or later. The corresponding source code is available at github.com/ffmpegwasm/ffmpeg.wasm (v0.12.10). The PDF tools use PDF.js (Apache-2.0) and pdf-lib (MIT); text recognition uses Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0); HEIC decoding in the image format converter uses libheif-js 1.23.5, a build of libheif under the GNU LGPL v3.

Not covered

The Nanocalcs name and logo are not licensed for reuse. Calculators run in your browser and their results are yours to use.
