How to use

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box, or press it to choose a file (up to 50 MB). A thumbnail of every page appears, labeled with its original number.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to move a page earlier or later, or type a new position in the number box. The cross button deletes a page. Reverse order flips the whole document, and Restore all pages starts over.
  3. Check the count of pages kept, press Save new PDF, then Download. The pages come out in the order shown on screen.

How it works

The new file is built by copying the pages you kept, one by one, in the order on screen into an empty PDF. The page count is the number of thumbnails left.

Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their quality. Bookmarks, form fields and links that point to other pages are not carried over.

Thumbnails are drawn with pdf.js and the new file is written with pdf-lib. Both are downloaded only when you choose a file and run in your browser. Your document is never sent to a server.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The file is read and rewritten in this browser tab. There is no upload, no account and no copy kept anywhere else.

How do I move a page far away, for example from 12 to 1?

Type the new position (1) in the number box of that page and press Enter. The page jumps there at once.

Can I get a deleted page back?

Yes, until you save. Restore all pages brings every page back in its original order.

Why does it say the file is password protected?

The PDF is encrypted, so it cannot be opened without its password. Open it in a PDF viewer, remove the password (save or print to a new PDF), then add that copy here.
