Image to PDF
Images become PDF pages in the order you set. A4 is 210 x 297 mm and Letter is 8.5 x 11 in, or keep the original size. Each image is scaled to fit, not cropped, and nothing is uploaded.
How to use
- Drop one or more images onto the box, or press it to choose files. Each file can be up to 50 MB.
- Use Move up and Move down to set the page order. Choose A4, Letter or Original size. For A4 and Letter you can set the orientation and the margin.
- Press Create PDF, then Download. Every image becomes one page.
How it works
On A4 (210 x 297 mm) and Letter (8.5 x 11 in) pages, each image is scaled to fit inside the page while keeping its shape, then centered. With Orientation on Auto, a wide picture gets a landscape page and a tall picture gets a portrait page. The margin option leaves half an inch (36 pt) around the picture.
With Original size, the page takes the size of the picture, one pixel per point (1/72 inch), so nothing is scaled or cropped.
Photos are redrawn through your browser first so the PDF shows them upright, as in your gallery. JPEG-like images are saved as JPEG at quality 92, PNG images stay lossless PNG. The PDF is assembled by a small library that is downloaded only when you press Create PDF. Nothing is uploaded.
Page sizes
| Size | In points | Millimeters |
|---|---|---|
| A4 | 595 x 842 | 210 x 297 |
| Letter | 612 x 792 | 216 x 279 |
| Original | One pixel per point | Same shape as the image |
Scans and receipts
For scanned documents, A4 or Letter with the margin turned off fills the page best. For long screenshots, choose Original size so the page keeps the full height without shrinking the text.
FAQ
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is built on your device in this browser tab. There is no upload, no account and no copy kept anywhere else.
Which image formats work?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and any other format your browser can open. They are converted to JPEG or PNG inside the PDF. An animated GIF uses its first frame.
How do I change the order of the pages?
Use Move up and Move down on each image in the list. The numbers in front of the file names show the final page order.
Why is my PDF so large?
The PDF keeps the full pixels of each image. Compress or resize photos first with the Image Compressor or the Image Resizer, then combine them.
Can I add text or sign the PDF?
No, this tool only places images on pages. Use it to build the file, then open the PDF in a viewer that supports forms and signing.
