Photocard Template
A standard 55 x 85 mm photocard with 3 mm bleed fits 3 across and 3 down on A4, which is 9 cards per sheet. On US Letter it is 6 per sheet (3 across, 2 down).
How to use
- Add your own photos. Set how many copies of each you want on the sheet.
- Pick a photo to adjust it: fill the card or fit the whole photo, zoom, and drag the preview to move the crop.
- Choose paper (A4 or Letter), card size (55 x 85 mm by default), bleed, corner roundness and cut marks. Add a back design if you want two-sided cards.
- Save the sheets as one PDF, or save each sheet as a PNG. Print at 100% scale (Actual size), not Fit to page, then cut along the marks.
How it works
Cards across = floor((paper width - 20 mm margins + gap) / (card width + gap)), and the same for rows. The gap between cards is twice the bleed, at least 4 mm. For 55 x 85 mm cards with 3 mm bleed the gap is 6 mm, so A4 (210 x 297 mm) gives 3 x 3 = 9 cards and Letter (215.9 x 279.4 mm) gives 3 x 2 = 6.
Bleed is extra picture that extends 3 mm past the cut line on every side, so a slightly crooked cut never leaves a white edge. The cut line is the card size itself (55 x 85 mm), and the printed picture is 61 x 91 mm.
Fill mode scales the photo until it covers the whole card plus bleed, then crops the overflow. Zoom enlarges it further. Fit whole photo shows the entire photo and leaves white space instead of cropping.
For two-sided cards the back sheet is mirrored left to right, so each back lands behind its front when you print double-sided with the flip on the long edge.
Sizes
55 x 85 mm (2.17 x 3.35 in) is the size most guides give as the standard K-pop photocard. It is a common convention rather than an official rule, and sizes vary by company and product: some lines use 54 x 86 mm, and special cards such as mini posters are larger. Measure a real card if you need an exact match.
Sleeves for these cards are usually sold at 57 x 88 mm. Corner roundness is not standardized either; about 3 mm is typical, so choose 2 to 4 mm to match what you have.
Print settings
- Set the scale to 100% (Actual size) and turn off Fit to page, or the cards will shrink and no longer match 55 x 85 mm.
- Use a photo paper or a heavy matte paper. Leave margins at the printer default.
- For two-sided cards, choose double-sided printing with the flip on the long edge. Not every printer lines the sides up perfectly, so check one sheet first.

FAQ
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The photos are read, cropped and placed in this browser tab, and the PDF is built on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Is this an official photocard or merchandise?
No. This is a template and print layout tool and has no connection to any artist, label or agency. Use it only with photos you took yourself or have permission to print. Printing pictures you do not own, or selling copies, may infringe copyright and is your own responsibility.
What is the standard photocard size?
Most K-pop photocards are 55 x 85 mm (2.17 x 3.35 in). It is a de facto standard, not an official one, and some releases are 54 x 86 mm or a different size entirely.
What is bleed and do I need it?
Bleed is the extra 3 mm of picture beyond the cut line. If you cut by hand, keep it, so a small error does not leave a white border. Set it to 0 if you only want the exact card and plan to cut very carefully.
How do I print the backs?
Add a back design, save the PDF and print it double-sided with the flip on the long edge. Pages alternate front, back, front, back. The back layout is already mirrored.
Why does the card come out smaller than 55 x 85 mm?
The print dialog is scaling the page. Choose 100% or Actual size and turn off Fit to page.
