Korea Time Zone Converter and Meeting Planner
Korea Standard Time (KST) is UTC+9 all year, with no daylight saving. When it is 20:00 in Seoul on 15 January 2026 it is 06:00 in New York, 11:00 in London and 03:00 in Los Angeles. Pick your own date and time below, or add cities to see where work hours overlap.
How to use
- Enter the Korea date and time, or drag the slider. The cities below show the same moment. Your own time zone is added automatically; use Add a city to compare more (up to 5).
- Read the grid: each row is one hour in Seoul, and each column is that hour in another city. Green cells are work hours, grey cells are late night. A row with a bar on the left is work time for every city.
- Tap a row to set that Korea hour. Change the work hours if your team keeps different ones. Use Share link to send the same setup to someone else.
How it works
Seoul uses Korea Standard Time, UTC+9, all year. South Korea has not used daylight saving time since 1988, so the Seoul side of the conversion never changes. The other side follows each city's own rules for that exact date.
The tool turns the Korea date and time into one exact moment (UTC) and shows it as the local time in each city, using the IANA time zone database built into your browser. It reuses the same conversion engine as the Time Zone Converter, so changes of clocks in the US, UK or Australia are handled for the date you pick.
Because the US and Europe change clocks on different dates, the gap to Seoul shifts by an hour twice a year, and for a few weeks in March and in autumn it differs from the usual gap. Pick the actual date of the meeting or concert, not today's date.
A city counts as in work hours when its local time is at or after the start hour and before the end hour (09:00 to 18:00 by default). Late night means 22:00 to 07:00 local time. The overlap line lists the Seoul hours when every city is in work hours, or the best hours when no hour works for all.

FAQ
What is the time zone in Korea?
Korea Standard Time (KST), UTC+9. The same time applies across South Korea all year, and there is no daylight saving time.
How do I convert a Korea concert or broadcast time to my time?
Enter the date and the start time in Korea (KST), and add your city. The first row is Seoul and your time zone is listed below it with the date, so a Saturday 8 PM KST show is shown as the local day and time where you live.
Does Korea have daylight saving time?
No. Korea last used it in 1987 and 1988. Because Korea does not change its clocks, the gap to the US and Europe changes when those places switch.
How many hours ahead of New York is Seoul?
14 hours ahead when New York is on standard time (winter, UTC-5) and 13 hours ahead during daylight time (UTC-4). Seoul is 9 hours ahead of London in winter and 8 in summer.
Is there any hour when Seoul and New York are both at work?
Not in 09:00 to 18:00, because the cities are 13 to 14 hours apart. If you allow an early start or a late finish (08:00 to 21:00 local), early Seoul morning lines up with New York evening of the previous day. The planner shows this when no normal hour works.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. Conversions run in your browser. A share link only holds the date, time, hours and city names in the address.
